Giving Tuesday 2022
Thunder Bay Theatre is proud to be part of Giving Tuesday through the Community Foundation of Northeast Michigan on Tuesday, November 29! All donations from Giving Tuesday will go to our Fire Relief Fund. We have been busy planning the renovation of our building, and your support will help us get there.
What Is Giving Tuesday? Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past nine years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to give.
During times like these, philanthropy can make a huge difference close to home. Thunder Bay Theatre has teamed up with the Community Foundation for Northeast Michigan to help lift up our nonprofits and our community this Giving Tuesday! 50 nonprofit organizations throughout northeast Michigan are participating in Giving Tuesday through the Community Foundation.
